Attachment (ECR-R)official elsewhere
The research questionnaire for adult attachment.
What it is
The Experiences in Close Relationships-Revised questionnaire has thirty-six statements and measures two things: attachment-related anxiety and attachment-related avoidance. It was published by Fraley, Waller, and Brennan in 2000 and is widely used in research.
From R. Chris Fraley, Niels Waller, and Kelly Brennan.
Why people like it
It is the standard research measure, and its two scales say more than a single label does.
Worth keeping in mind
Its author says it may be used freely in non-commercial research, and not for commercial purposes without permission. That is why Hopper Attachment uses our own statements for now.
