About
A place to answer questions about yourself and read what your answers say, alone or with someone close.
Popular and scientific
Scientific means published research statements that we are free to use, scored as their authors describe. Hopper Big Five and the full Hopper Personal Strengths are scientific: their statements come from the public-domain International Personality Item Pool.
Popular means our own best questions on a well-known idea, the kind of quiz you would find in a good book. Hopper Personality Types, Attachment, Love Styles, and Nine Types are popular. Where a scientific version is not yet ours to offer, the page says coming soon and says why.
Whose names these are
Myers-Briggs and MBTI, CliftonStrengths, The 5 Love Languages, RHETI, DiSC, and the others belong to their owners. We say what each is, send you to the official one, and offer our own curated version beside it under a plain name of our own. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
What a result is
A result is your own description of yourself, added up. It is not a diagnosis and not a verdict, and both ends of every scale are ordinary ways to be. We have no comparison group, so nothing here says how you compare with other people: a mark shows where your answers fall on the scale itself.
If something in a result troubles you, talk to someone you trust or to a professional. A questionnaire is not a substitute for either.
Who makes this
Hopper Personality is made by Hopper Labs. The larger pictures are generated images of invented people; nobody real is shown.
